Here’s a story on football that is hidden from the lights & the media. You Have a talented group of kids in the Pop Warner 105 pound ages 10 & 11 division, The RV Patriots 105 pound white team. Have just completed Game 6 of the 2007 season. As a team they managed to score over 120 points in 6 games and allowed -0-.
What’s so amazing about this team is most of these kids lead by quarterbacks Stevie # 11 and Danny # 10 have been playing together for the past five years as 5 year olds.
This same team has The 2005 & 2006 Divisional & Burlington County Pop Warner Championship titles. At The 90 Pound level with a 2005 Undefeated 12-0 season and 2006 10-2 season They took home both Titles back to back.
This year in pre season play they scrimmage the past two year Regional Champions and defeated them 34-0 . What proved to be the start of a fantastic season.
If these boys manage to continue to play for The Love of The Game we may see a local Burlington County Mount Holly team on it’s way to the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Florida.
In any event I know without a doubt that The Rancocas Valley Regional High School Football coach is county the years until these 3 x’s in a row Divisional Champions grow, Mature and play in High School together.
